In 1988 I became a licensed architect and with the help of my employer and mentor established a firm of my own

I spent years trying to manage people, projects, and the wide variety of data generated by my practice.  Learning of the potential benefits of computers, I purchased (then top-of-the-line) Pre-Pentium work stations. 

It took only a few months to realize that "off-the-shelf" programs developed by software companies did not meet the special administrative needs of the architectural community. In 1994 I purchased software called Lotus® Approach® for Windows®. Designed to enable the average computer user with powerful software development tools, it could be used to create custom database applications. 

By April, 1995 I had created a series of databases which helped simplify the task of recording, organizing and analyzing the architectural services provided by my firm. Armed with the enthusiastic interest of other architects, I decided to focus on developing these templates into an easy to use computer program that could assist other architectural firms. 

I have spent the past fourteen years developing, testing and fully integrating these database modules into a program I call ArchAdministrator.  To learn more about ArchAdministrator and our other products and services, please refer to the information provided on this Web site.
