Project Scheduler Module Added to ArchAdministrator

BLOOMFIELD, NJ, August 25, 2000 -- PS Software Solutions announced today that it has fully integrated a thirteenth module into its increasingly popular software program, ArchAdministrator. The new "Project Scheduler" module simplifies the task of scheduling and tracking project phases and tasks, employee schedules and workloads, project millstones and much more. 

The Project Scheduler allows the user to specify an unlimited number tasks for each phase of the project. The user can also assign an unlimited number of employees to work on each specified task. Employees are assigned a percentage of involvement in each task. Salary data, extracted from the Employee Information module, is used to automatically calculate the number of hours that should be budgeted to a specific task (based on fees specified in ArchAdministrator's Proposal/Contract module). Conversely, the user can setup a project schedule, enter estimated task hours for each assigned employee, and ArchAdministrator will automatically determine the required fees for each phase and task (including overhead and profit multipliers). 

The Project Scheduler module allows the user to assigned priority levels to each task and create dependency links between project tasks. The module also allows the user to schedule firm-wide holidays and specify individual employee vacations. Each phase and task duration is automatically calculated and based on employee scheduled hours, task priority levels, calendar weekends and scheduled holidays. The user can also obtain (on-the-fly) reports that summarize firm-wide and employee-specific workloads, daily scheduled tasks, scheduled hours vs. time sheet hours logged and much more.

ArchAdministrator Release 2.0 requires a Pentium 120 or higher IBM PC or compatible processor, with Microsoft Windows 95, 98, or NT 4.0 and a minimum of 16MB RAM (32MB for Windows 98 and NT 4.0) and 70MB of disk space to install minimum features. Additional space is required for the installation of optional features.
