Promotion Information

A promotion record should be created each time there is a change in the employee's status. Create a new promotion whenever an employee's Title, Wages, Hourly Cost, Hours/Wk, Supervisor Status, Vacation Allowance, etc... is changed.

 

NOTE: Default data provided for newly created promotions is based on the most recent (previously created) promotion for the employee specified. ArchAdministrator allows you to enter an unlimited number of promotions for each employee.

 

TIP: If an employee's status needs to be updated (Title, wages, Supervisor Status, etc...) create a new promotion record rather than editing an existing one. Creating a new record for each change that has occurred in an employee's history will provide a more accurate depiction of the events that have taken place while the employee has been employed by the firm.
