The Building Information section of the Project Information View provides two data fields that store information about the number of prototypes and units associated with the project. Most architectural projects consist of a single building with no additional units constructed. Therefore, the default value for each of the following fields is one (1).
However, you may be involved with projects that consist of developing a number of prototype designs (models) that are used to construct multiple copies of these prototypes. Enter the actual number of Prototypes and/or Units for your project in the fields provided.
EXAMPLE: 35 unit housing development with four prototype (model) designs
Total # of Units = 35 # of Prototypes = 4
NOTE: Unit and Prototype values are used to automatically calculate the Total Unit Re-Use Fee for the Supplemental Services Phase of the project.
